CAFÉ DE CORAL GROUP CELEBRATES THE GRAND OPENING OF THE FIRST OUTLET OF THE CUP, A YOUNG KOREA-ORIGINATED FOOD BRAND THE GROUP BRINGS TO HONG KONG
Café de Coral Group today (20 April 2015) celebrated the opening of the first outlet of The Cup, a Korean healthy food brand the Group brings to Hong Kong with JNT Co. Ltd (JNT) from Korea.
Sunny Lo, Chief Executive Officer of Café de Coral Group and Moon Jungmi, President and Chief Executive Officer of JNT officiated at the opening ceremony in Whampoa today with over 50 guests in attendance including Korean new rising model/actor, Geon Lee, the endorser of JNT. The ceremony featuring lion dance and K-pop dance also attracted members of the public to share the enjoyment and excitement.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr Lo said, “The opening of The Cup marks an important milestone of the Group as it is of strategic importance to the growth plan of the Group. We are honoured to work with JNT who impressed us with their professionalism. With JNT’s wealth of experience in Korean food culture and our insight of the Hong Kong market, we hope to quickly establish a solid foundation for the development of The Cup here.”
Ms Moon said, “Today is a very important and meaningful day for us as The Cup takes its first step in Hong Kong. I cannot express how excited I am about this great start. I do believe that today is the start of another success story of our partner Café de Coral Group.”
The Cup showcases authentic, modish causal Korean dining with 3S (Slim, Stylish & Simplicity) as its motto. The menu is tailor-made for Hong Kong by Korea’s Headquarter. No matter it is rice and noodle specialties, tteokbokki, jjigae or gimbap, one can’t miss its enthusiasm in modern Korean food.
